I had to come back and give a review on these, unbelievable. I was buying $20 bits, all main brands. Drilling slow with water and not heating the bit they would only get about three holes, if you were lucky. I did six holes like nothing with these and still have to put on another handrail in my other bathroom. It might do them too? I figure I'd go through the whole set but only used one bit so far. I'm talking from building experience and a tool guy.

So, they're drill bits for drilling tile, stone, and glass. They work exactly as they should. Our shower uses very heavy duty outdoor tile that has been tough to drill. I have tried at least 5 big name drill bits from big box stores costing from $5-10 per bit that barely scratched the tile and literally burned themselves out. I tried going slow and tried going fast and made no progress at all. So, I thought I would see what was on Amazon and did a search; these popped up at $10 for 10 bits and I figured I had nothing to really lose. When they arrived, I started drilling slowly and was tepid about cranking them up. So, the first 4 holes took me a bit until I decided to heck with it and took up the speed. I began to swap off drilling and cooling the tip in a cup of water as it got really hot. Nonetheless, a single bit got me through finishing the 4 holes for my shelf and two holes for my second shelf before the tip snapped off. These are amazing value for the money and I couldn't recommend them more.

Can't say much about durability, it didn't snap or bend. The price was right and it gets the job done. Drills clean and effortless into bathroom tiles.

I have used these bits to drill ceramic wall tile without a hammer drill. Use with water, works great.

Didn't trust the vendor, so ordered 10 drills for my bathroom shower door project. Reading the instructions, we must drill with 300-600 rpm and not allowing the drill bit to overheat. So this is exactly what I did - don't press too hard, put the drill bit every 5 secs. in cold water and clean the hole. Surely the strength of the tiles will matter big time - but our floor tiles are very tough, while the wall tiles were not so much.At the end, I used only one single bit for the entire project, and by the end that bit didn't show any sign of wear or tear. Very good product, very good value, fast 24 h. delivery. Cannot be happier!

These are not all that great for drilling through granite/marble. It takes a lot of pressure to drill a hole as well as water to keep them cool. The first time I used them I did 3 holes took me almost an hour and the bit was toast after that. Guess it's a good thing you get 10 bits in the set. I wound up ordering some diamond hole drill bits that work much better.

These seem to be a pretty strong bit overall. I am drilling Granite that is 1 1/4” thick. Using a drill press and keeping wet with a spray bottle. Every 15 to 20 seconds lift the bit and fill the hole with water then keep drilling. Don’t use but medium pressure. Let the bit do the work. One thing I found that helped save the bit was when the bit is trying to exit the bottom of the hole is to turn the piece over and drill from the small hole on the back. When the bit is exiting it has tendency to get stuck and wedged to the side and lost the tip off of two bits when this happened. After starting to finish the hole from the back I never lost another bit and same bit has now drilled about 8 of these holes and still looks good.
