BEWARE!!! * if you can try to not have the firmware updated however I don’t know if that’s even an option. It was working GREAT…UNTIL they updated their firmware to 1.2.0. Then it quit working via USB, and won’t even print WiFi or AirPlay. Tech Support said it’s because you upgraded to the latest firmware and there is no reverting back. So I spent hours with tech-support and uninstalled and reinstalled drivers uninstalled the printer altogether…. I installed only the Wi-Fi and still all I can do is print a test page… if that! All other REAL print jobs will fail. I bought this May of last year 2024 and it was working fine and they forced that firmware update on me and now they bricked it. The printer is bricked because of their software update! I have never ever bought a hardware device in which the manufacturer updates the firmware without my knowledge and then you can’t revert back to it and the piece of hardware is bricked. Now I cannot use my printer, and I am very frustrated. Their tech support is lacking. Also like I said is you read above? I spent hours with Tech Support chat and they were not helpful at all. I’m still waiting on them to answer my questions. I wanna refund… In the meantime I’m gonna buy another printer and it’s not gonna be from Munbyn. I’m letting everyone know this so they can be aware and take this gamble if you want… How disappointing this printer has been because I cannot trust them anymore…, even though it worked like a charm and wonderfully before their update. And now they simply will not support it, and I’ve spent and wasted hours of my time. I am so frustrated.

I'm an iPhone and a Mac user. I just love this printer for my shipping labels. (I've also played with it using some of the preloaded templates and it's super fun)Be sure to install the app on your iPhone and connect the printer in your iPhone first. After that, it just shows up on your Mac printer list and use it like you would any other printer. I emailed support with a simple question and they got back to me almost immediately.Super fast, easy set up and beautiful results. A true Wi-Fi label printer that can be used by everyone in the home or office.By the way, AirPrint works beautifully. I log into my Shippo account, open the label and hit print. You can't beat printing labels from your recliner!

I bought the Munbyn Thermal Printer because the toner in my laser printer was expensive and unreliable. I use it to print shipping labels from eBay and from Poshmark.The Munbyn printer worked right out of the box. I was able to print from my MacBook no problem. I had some issues printing from my iPhone and iPad, but there was a recently released firmware upgrade around the time I ordered it. I received an email from Munbyn tech support letting me know to install it.At first my labels were printing off center. This was my fault as I didn't squeeze the label guides together to hold the labels in the right alignment. Tech support was quick to help with this solution as well.My mailing labels are now the perfect size with less paper waste, and the printout of the Munbyn is perfect. And it prints great from all my Apple devices. I have not used it for anything besides mailing labels. I have only used Munbyn branded labels so far.

I just got it today (a day early!) and WOW! It prints SO FAST! What an upgrade from printing shipping labels on my old hp printer! I'll update my review if I have any trouble with it down the road!Set Up was only confusing because once you download the driver there's no program that you open with it, and my pc doesn't notify me when I connect the MUNBYN, the only way I could see that it was connected was to actually go to "printers". Then to actually print I can't seem to just right click a saved pdf label and say print, which was annoying since I had already saved one of my labels, but when I went to print the rest of the labels directly from Etsy I was able to skip downloading them all together and print directly from the webpage after hitting Print, and selecting the MUNBYN. Then it kept the MUNBYN as the default printer for the rest of the labels. I still seem to have to adjust something though, it cut off the first letter of my name and other info on the return address.This did come with a small stack of labels (maybe 20 of them), which I wish I would have known, but a good surprise. I put the labels on some 2" kraft shipping tubes and the top and bottom corners didn't seem like they wanted to stay stuck on, so I did end up using a little piece of tape to secure them. But the label I used on a flat box seemed pretty well set. I assume the labels they send are their own brand. I have a box of rollo brand ones I'll be using after I run out though.One thing I found as being strange is that the labels still can smudge, I didn't expect this, but when pressing one down I smudged the print with my hand.I think it is absolutely adorable, which is such a rare thing to say about anything I buy for my work, and I love how small it is, it fits so nicely on my IKEA kallax shelf.
