I purchased this with the intention of correcting the placement of my babies head when he was a newborn. I’d noticed he’d started favoring one side and wanted to correct it during car rides. The print was cute and looked as advertised but functionality wise, I personally felt the two inserts didn’t fit him accurately. If I used two, it was too tight for him, and while it was easy to remove, with just one (like the product suggested for age) it was too big. While the price point was there, but it just didn’t work for me.

I don't use this in the car seat since it isn't safely tested to be used with the seat in the event of an accident (and it does cover near little one's face a bit too closely for my liking when I can't see them at all times). But for a bouncer and stroller, it's very convenient! Useful for when they are awake but not quite able to keep their head comfortably supported yet, but only for short periods anyways.

Why car seats don't come with these items is ridiculous. We purchased this for our new born. The inner piece was a tad too small for her but the outer insert fits her well. (8lbs at birth) The shoulder straps are great and provides added cushion. The design is exactly what it should be. The product is easy to install, wipe down and keep clean. It also provides added comfort and support for the baby.
