I used this tensioner to turn my MTB into a one speed road bike! You can adjust and slide it to any sprocket that you wanna use. You don’t have to remove the shram and get a one speed adapter to make it work! The cogs I picked were a perfect alignment. All I did was take about 4 links out of the chain to give it plenty tension. Don’t know the longevity of the spring tensioner but so far so good . If it breaks I will let you know.

I saw the price of this and thought I'll probably be sending this back because it a cheap peice garbage but I was totally wrong and pleasantly surprised. It's quality made and functions as it should. It also doesn't bad either. I put this on a single speed mtb build and love it.

Sobald etwas Kettenspannung darauf kommt, verwindet sich der Schwenkarm derart stark, dass die Kette laut rattert und abspringt, weil sie keine Führung mehr hat.

I found this idler wheel and tensioner to be ver easy to install and it is securely fastened but could use a little thread locker to keep it tight while in use.
