I was sent a generic part, not OEM as described in the listing. The cap i received will not even fit the fuel tank.

The Fuel Cap thread is accurate and allows you to screw it down. What you will notice is that it doesnt take as many turns. (Its just not as DEEP as the original). Works as expected with no leaks

This was a replacement cap for my Murray riding lawnmower. The seal on the inside of the old was worn out and fell apart in pieces. This cap was just a little too tight to fully screw down and seal properly. However the seal inside was easy to remove and install on my old cap. Problem solved.
