I have used this a few times and I am glad to have it. Have used for a baked potato bar, salad bar and pizza toppings bar.Pros:- Really cool design where you can simply add ice under them and keep items cool for hours- Very clear, so makes food items quite attractive- 5 compartments, each with lids- Can also use for food/meal prep, just putting separate ingredients in them and putting in fridgeCons:- The compartments are huge. So you need to be feeding a crowd to get any of them filled with one ingredient of a dish. I guess you could feed just a couple people by loading them with cold items for a meal, but I don't think I'd go through the hassle for just a couple of people.- Compartments and caddy need to be hand-washed- It's a fairly large and odd-sized container to find proper storage in ones kitchen cabinets

My family has tacos every Tuesday and "build your own burger" 2-3 times a month. I usually have a mishmash of bowls and saucers littering the table with all the toppings and such. It gets in the way and shuffling everything around is a pain. Plus it cluttered up my fridge because we always have leftovers. I'm loving this caddy! It holds all of the toppings we use and it's nice to just put it away in the fridge and it's a huge space saver compared to all my bowls and plates. If I don't use a large quantity of something, I can flip the lid and use that as a caddy as well. If I had to nitpick, I wish the lid clicked in. It's kinda just perched there. I like the tongs and the sporks, but wish the tines were more sturdy. I see the sporks breaking in the near future. I don't know if it is dishwasher safe, I hand washed it because I like it too much to accidentally warp it. The plastic is heavy duty and nice quality. Overall, this is perfect for us and I use it at least twice a week!

This compartmented serving dish is ideal for a taco party or appetizer tray! It is very easy to assemble - all the parts just need to be set into the large ice tray. I’ve never seen anything like this! The compartments are quite generous and I would feel comfortable using this to feed 6-8 people at 2-3 hard tacos each. It eliminates the worry over leaving condiments or foods out that would spoil quickly. I can just sit back and enjoy the party with everyone else rather than worrying about refrigerating the food right away. Also, when it is time to break down the taco/appetizer bar, I can just remove the containers from the ice compartment with the lids in tact and pop them in the fridge for storage. I love that it also comes with a couple little tongs and sporks to dish things up - no fingers please! All components are made with heavy, clear acrylic plastic that looks pretty and will wash easily. This would also make a great sundae bar for various toppings or do a gyro bar with tzatziki, diced tomatoes, crumbled feta, olives, and sliced pepperoncini! The possibilities are endless.

Serving trays with a spot for ice are harder to come by than they should be, so I was thrilled to find this.We do a “finger buffet” at least twice a year, and every time we’ve had to put the dips/sauces awkwardly to the side. This will be perfect for our needs.My only criticism is that I wish the lids and compartments could snap into place instead of just resting there.I also wish it had a carrying case, but I’m certainly not going to dock a star for that. It would have to cost a lot more if it had that, anyway. I’m just concerned about putting it away high on the top of my cabinets, I can see tipping it on accident and having some of the lids or compartments falling off since they’re not secure.All of that said, it’s not like there’s much competition out there and I’m sure I can come up with some kind of case for it so that doesn’t happen. I’m much more pleased than not and do feel this is deserving of 5 stars.
