Pretty basic. Works as it should. Be sure to measure the area you want to add a strap button and make sure the diameter of the button is what you want. I install this on an octave mandolin, so there wasn't a ton of space, which is why I liked the slightly smaller diameter of this one (14mm).

These are my favorite strap buttons now. Others I tried were too small or didn't allow for a thick strap. These are big enough to securely hold the strap and have enough room to install a thick rubber washer as extra insurance. Others I tried failed on at least one of those two (looking at you, D'Addario!)

These strap buttons are strong and have a flawless finish. These are great on a $200 guitar or a $2,000 guitar. I would highly recommend these and the price is incredible for what you get. Great buy.
