Its a good replacement part for a guitar output jack plate. Sturdy construction; not thin and flimsy. I think it is made for an Explorer style guitar or some other style with a rectangular type output jack plate. I needed a thin jack plate for my Epiphone Les Paul Studio Lite (thinner body) and had very few options - especially in black. I had to fill the old existing holes and drill new holes since this plate is rectangular and not square but thats a easy job so no big deal. It fit great and looks great - very pleased. I was very happy to get two of them as I burned the one of them with the soldering iron being lazy. I could have salvaged it, but having a second plate made it easy to move on from.

Musiclily was nice enough to include a guitar pick with these output jack covers. IT SURE WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY WOULD HAVE INCLUDED SCREWS! This is ridiculous! I'm not the least bit happy!
