One of the tuner peg handles broke off my cheap Korean made Fender acoustic guitar. I did not want to spend a lot to fix it because the guitar isn’t worth much, but I enjoy playing it occasionally. One day I’ll have a nice American made guitar again, once I get my kids through college. Anyway, I digress. These tuners work, but they are not great. They are made in China and it shows in the quality. As you can see from the pictures, the finish on one of the bushings is very poor and looks very pitted. Also, a couple of the tuners don’t operate smoothly. They seem grind when I adjust them and they take more effort than they should to turn them. I tried lubricant on the gears of one of them, but that did not seem to help. I’ve requested a replacement set so that hopefully I can scavenge enough decent parts from between the two sets. I would not recommend these if you have a nice quality guitar, but they may be fine for you if you have a cheap guitar like mine.

Okay, these were purchased an upgrade for the really crappy old ones i had on my 30 year old LP knock-off. One of my old ones had the knob actually crack off. So, I just needed new tuners that 1. weren't rusting/broken, and 2. hold a tune at least as long as my old ones, and 3. wouldn't cost more than my old guitar is worth. Mission accomplished! I won't claim these are as good as Grovers or any of the original tuners they use on Gibsons, but I was pleasantly surprised how solid they are for the price. And, they fit right on using the old holes.

Solid tuning pegs for a budget conscious guitarist-fits the new epiphone sg perfectly and gives plenty of resistance.

Packaging arrived ripped. So I inspected the tuners and everything superficially looked right, so I didn't think much of it. Maybe it ripped in shipping. Then when I finally got around to putting them on, I was disappointed that they were just as stiff, loose, and chunky as the cheap failing tuners I was replacing. They are also lighter and seemingly a slightly thinner metal, which doesn't inspire confidence. Then when I was installing one of the tuners, it was already failing -- the gear slips on the peg and can't hold pitch and the button is loose and its chrome finish cracked. What is going on? Then I take a closer look and the gear on the broken tuner is a different metal than the others (brass colored vs the steel color on the others). Highly suspicious. So I can't say whether Musiclily has such poor quality tuners and poor QA or whether a previous Amazon customer sent the crap broken tuners he replaced back in the Musiclily box as a return scam and then Amazon simply accepted it without examining it and sold it to me as a new Musiclily set. Be very wary of buying this kind of product from Amazon. You have no idea if you're getting what you bought since Amazon has such poor controls (or none?) to ensure you get authentic products. At any rate, what I received was useless junk. Disappointing waste of time.

Just like the epiphone les paul special tuners. I was actually able to replace just the internal gears on one so that was convenient and easy. They look almost identical. Bottom left is the one I replaced. It comes with covers, but I didn't install them here.

I have an old MIJ Les Paul from the 70s that came with some pretty bad stock tuners. These particular tuners were the closest thing I could find to the stock ones and they definitely do the trick! They’re sturdy, it keeps my guitar in tune. What more can you ask for?The washers that came with them are made of plastic. That’s my only complaint. So I used the original stock metal ones that came with my guitar.

The knob on my daughters tuning peg popped off after a performance and lost the screw & washer so couldn’t reattach. I got a quote from two local music shops of $150 parts and labor to replace machine heads.Given that it would cost $200 to buy a new guitar (which wasn’t an option since this is my daughters first guitar and she loves it) I took a chance on these machine heads. These machine heads look almost exactly like the stock heads. Easy to install (I’m no luthier) and a perfect fit. As for the quality…that is to be determined. These same heads sell at places like Guitar Center for $50-60 a set. The guitar and original heads are 3 years old. Even If we can get 1-2 years with these heads I will be thrilled.

Se sienten de buena calidad, y hasta ahora han funcionado bien y el color está muy bueno, bien con todos los tornillos para montarlo, por el precio es una buena opción

My Epiphone Les Paul has a rattling machine head. Unfortunately, it is equiped with machine heads that are quite unusual...narrower posts through head, two screws attaching underneath. These exactly match the OEM heads. The Musiclily screws are not the ultimate in machine heads, nor the most expensive but do the job without the need to ream out holes for string posts or fill screw holes. Faulty peg easily replaced with only a screwdriver.
