The pads themselves work great, I am still using my original one but purchased this one as a spare and so far these work great. It kept my acoustic at the optimum humidity all winter. So for the features it has, I think this humidifier setup is a great value.

This was a replacement for a sponge I accidentally soaked in tap water! DO NOT DO THIS! The sponge will collect the minerals in the tap water and it will grow mildew and mold. Great product! Keeps my guitar hydrated and playing& sounding great! Use only with distilled water. Thank you!

I really like this humidifier sponge and the music nomad humidifier for 1 way humidification (i.e. adding humidity). The only criticism is that it is way overpriced. a 6 pack of kitchen sponges is $3. So $6 for one of these (which by the way is half the size) is like charging $6 for something valued at 50 cents. Now it is better quality than the material of the kitchen sponge and offers some benefit, but it's still price gouging. so -1 star on value. But it works, and it's convenient in their humidifier which I do really like the design of.

Good product just remember to use distilled water not tap water as my first one got mold o it by doing so. I watched the video and found out that I should have used distilled water.

It really is pretty amazing how much water this little guy can soak up. Stays moist for a long time. Great in its brand’s humidifier but also fits in place of the sponges in some other designs - this is a really good upgrade for those other systems. Honestly if you don’t have a humidifier system at all yet you could probably just drill some holes in like a travel soap holder or something and put this in there and you’d be in great shape for real cheap.
