I primarily purchased this to 1) make sure that if my kids/spouse need to ask me a question, they know if I'm on mute or not and 2) so that I know that I'm on mute or not - as sometimes I forget if I am muted/unmuted. In both of these goals, this product has been amazing and works perfectly.I had tried other lights, and none were as simple to use or as reliable as this one has been. The software just works, which is fantastic. Honestly, the other solutions I previously tried all overcomplicated it to the point where it became unusable and not very reliable. This solution is simple, easy to use, and has been flawlessly reliable so far. I use it primarily with Zoom, but I also use it with Slack, Teams, Discord, and Skype. All of which have worked perfectly so far without any lag or sync issues.

Obsessed. Love this so much! It's been a game changer with my multitasking on several screens while also having to be in Zooms with a quick mute and unmute. Will likely get another one so I am sure to have one no matter where I am working from.

I just love my MuteMe. Works flawlessly... simply follow the configuration steps just as they are presented, and you wll have zero problems. Any rating here to the contrary is just whining because they have convoluted their own PC. MutMe is a simple, but powerful, utility device that makes the conferencing experience easier to manage. I use it with Zoom, Teams and Skype.

This is a cool product that really helps ensure you're muted when needed, which is a great feature for frequent virtual meetings. However, I’ve had some issues with it needing updates to stay compatible with Teams, and at times, it gets out of sync. Despite that, I’ve used it non-stop since I got it, and while it works the majority of the time, there are definitely moments where it can be frustrating. Overall, it's a useful tool but could benefit from some improvements in reliability.

This little thing is great! However, I have a few problems.The Problems:1. Tech support is an email response, not a great experience... and it took a few days.2. When the app that runs it in the background wants a survey or something, it stops running completely. It waits for you to address it and it does not matter if you are in the middle of a meeting.The Pros:It is so great and easy to use. The touch is very light so you can quickly activate it. I love being able to customize lights, colors, and usage between different apps. Overall: Would recommend with the caveat that reminds you about the issues I listed above.

There are only a few minor reasons why I might not like this product, but far more reasons why I absolutely do. This is a solid, American-made product that has truly impressed me. The closest alternative I've used is a wired headset with a mute button, but I don’t care for those.What I love about this device is its visibility and functionality. It's always in front of me, easy to access, and I can seamlessly set it up to sync with my softphones. I can even configure it so that when a call comes in, MuteMe turns green to indicate the microphone is active. This feature gives me a sense of control over my audio, boosting my confidence both during and outside of calls. I never have to worry about whether someone can hear me on the other end.This is an excellent product as it stands, and I can’t imagine what a new model would improve upon. I really like it just the way it is.

I recently purchased the Mute Me button from Amazon and it's been a fantastic addition to both my work and personal setups. At my company, I use it during Google Meets to easily control my microphone, which has made our virtual meetings much smoother. Personally, it’s been great for dictation and adding voiceovers to my videos, making the process quick and hassle-free. I'm not an IT professional, but the setup was very easy when I followed the directions provided. Despite several IT professionals reporting issues, my setup went smoothly, and it's working perfectly with my Yeti microphone. The button is responsive and integrates seamlessly with my devices. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use mute solution.

I bought this product, because I wanted a visual queue to know when I was being listened to (eg accidentally left my meeting open or mic on),I lost confidence after a few days of use when the button was red, and people could still hear me. That should never happen in a product like this, do not buy if you are serious about your privacy.Also don't get this if you have multiple users on the same computer, you will have to get the other user to log back in and turn off the app before it will work on your account

I've had no end of problems with other solutions, they don't mute when the telepresence software is out of focus (in the background), they don't work reliably, they don't give strong visual feedback of your current mute status. MuteMe solves all these problems and does it incredibly well. Now I know whichever telepresence software I'm using that it's a global button to mute me across all of them and reflect my mute status back to me. Just brilliant!

Nov 2024 . I loved this product for 2 years and changed 5 stars to 1 now. It was a solid product and this past year firmware pushed made it where it does not sync up with MS Teams for many calls when I start in the AM. I have even tried to leave it running all night. Support has had me reload multiple times every time. and keeps pointing at I have an issue now. Not sure why I worked for 2 years and degrade with each update. I would say not worth buying this device.Sep 2024 - It seems with every firmware push this product tends to get flaker. I set one Mic and One App "TEAMS" as level III. It does not always sync up with the App and has to be toggled many times to sync up and then gets out of sync on the cent call. The first call of the morning tends to not work. Also if I toggle the mute with my mouse or spacebar MuteMe does not change unless I touch it. It started as a rock-solid product to now unreliable.Dec 2022 Simple Install. Downloaded the Software and Off and running. I'm mainly a business MS Teams user with multiple screens and a Logitech Camera/Mic device. Not too complex. I tend to participate in or lead virtual calls with many programs open and always scrambling to find the Teams Desktop to Mute/Unmute. I set up the software to Level III for Teams using the Logitech mic and it seems to always work perfectly. Simple fast to identify Mute status, and the color options for different modes. The only item that bugs me, I left my laptop running 7/24. Tools to manage the LEDs turning off after work and back on based on time would be helpful. For now, I shut down the program and restarted it in the mornings. I never knew I needed this device until now. Fits perfectly in the base on my Blue Yeti X Mic
