Received item. Seemed like a quality product. However, there were no instructions included. Contacted seller for both instructions and warrantee information, but did not receive a reply..Finally, after viewing similar items, and their descriptions, I determined that this item required two 6V lantern batteries.I also determined that the switch operated by means of a wire probe inserted through a small hole in the front of the device.Installed batteries, and activated switch. The switch was OFF / STEADY BEAM / FLASHING.Initially, I was pleased with device, and the light seemed nice and bright, which would be visible for a long distance.However, after a few moments, the device would cease to function, then it would function intermittently.Evidently, there is a problem with either the switch or the circuit board.I attempted to contact the seller, but was unable to do so.I still have the device, and would love for it to be functional, but I have no idea as to what type of warranty was included, or if it can be repaired.As this was purchased for a specific need, I had to purchase another flashing light from an alternate source.I was unable to contact seller for solution, or warrantee information.
