Posts are OK but the end connectors require M8x1.5mm bolt and the kit provides useless wood screws

What a great kit when alternatives were 200 bucks for 8ft used 6” spacing covered just shy of 40’ with spindles left overAlso recommend buying the cradles to mont the 2X4 to REALLY make it easy

These are exactly what I needed for my new deck. I can find the round ones, but the square aluminum ones are harder to find. I would take off a half-star, if I could, because I need 55, so had to buy three packs (75). They were also out of the 50 packs (cheaper).

Really like the square balusters vs more typical round ones. These come with solid attachment mechanism and excellent screws. Slightly fiddly to install. I found what worked best was to cut a template to ensure even spacing of the rails. Then install rail mounts on both upper and lower rail. Install lower rail with balusters attached (they wobble around but stay on their mounts). Then lower one end of the upper rail onto the top of the balusters - one baluster at a time, keeping the other end of the rail raised. Each time one pops in, gently lower the raised end a bit to lock in each one as you go.

I couldn’t find the 36” (91 cm) square balusters in the big box stores, but Amazon had them. The order included 25 balusters, the connectors and screws, which was everything I needed. I used all 25 in a 72” (183 cm) section of fence where each baluster is about 2 1/2” (6.3 cm) apart from the next. The hardest part was connecting the balusters on the top rail to the connectors on bottom rail. Virtual impossible to do alone, as when I’d connect one baluster to both top and bottom another one at the end would fall out. Get someone to help you. It’ll save you a lot of time and frustration.
