Purchased the Happy Birthday and Candles die cut. It arrived sooner than expected. Used it to make a quick card. Cuts well except for an area on the bottom around 2 of the candles. Have to manually cut out a smalll area. (Trying additional card stock to run though the machine for thickness did not help. I would recommend this as it makes a fact Bday card!

I have not used this die on a card yet, but I did cut out a sample to see how the die worked. It is primarily for a birthday card, but you could use the candles without the words. You will have to cut it out from several sheets of card stock or designer paper to get more than one color. You could cut it out of white card stock and color it with your favorite pencils, crayons, ink, etc.

If you’re ink-blending your cardstock prior to die cutting with this template, make sure your paper has a heavy weight of 100lb+, and very dry, as it’s hard to pop-out (weed) the tiny inside cuts. Also, make sure you run it through your die-cut machine more than once to insure image cuts completely through. There are many thin sections that can easily rip your paper if not fully cut.

Quick way to make a birthday card. Vary the colors for male or female cards. A few of the thinner areas were a bit slower to remove the cardstock once the pattern was cut, but most of it came out very easily. Makes a very quick birthday card!

The cutting die is beautiful. I have not use yet. The only thing is that I waited a long while but it was worth it. If I wouldn't wait that long I would it give 5 *
