Loud Noise of Motor:
Excited motor wound with multiple copper wires has small size and strong power. Sound may be a bit loud when working, please understand that.
How to Avoid Wire being Jammed:
Please do not put down too many steel wire ropes at one time, because that will cause the inner wire rope to loosen and jam. Release down the steel wire rope according to the need. It's better to add some lubricating oil on the steel wire rope.
Cannot Stop Immediately:
When you release the control button, the machine is cushioned a short distance and cannot stop immediately.

Used this winch to lower my floating dock down the hill last Spring, then pulled it up the hill with the winch last Fall. This year, I go to lower the dock and the winch powers on, lights come on, but the wireless remote will not make the winch run. I used the hardwire remote, and it still doesn't work when I need it the most.

Overall this works very well. Though the wireless remote often cuts out making it a littler frustrating to deal with. Even though the distance between isn’t very far away.
