These appear to be exact replacements for the Craftsman factory originals. But like those OEM guards, they're prone to get knocked loose and lost. I found the solution: Before installing the protective tip, put a couple of drops of super-glue inside. It won't mean they can never be knocked off, but they'll stay in place a LOT longer.

I recently purchased the Craftsman 18ga Brad Nailer (Model # CMCN618B) and wanted to get some extra no-mar tips in case the one that came on the nailer got lost or damaged. These replacement no-mar tips (Part # N567537) are a perfect replacement.They come packed in a small plastic bag. In the bag are three (3) replacement tips. In comparing them to the OEM tip that came on the nailer, it is almost impossible to tell which was the original and which was the replacement. These replacement tips are made of a soft rubber material and have the same size and profile as the original. The grooves that position the tip on the nailer are the same, and they fit on the nailer perfectly. They lock onto the nailer tip the same was the OEM tip does.I fired a few 18ga brads with a replacement no-mar tip on the nose of the nailer and it worked perfectly. The no-mar tip profile did not interfere with the operation of the nailer and the brad was placed where expected.I will be keeping these replacement no-mar tips with my other nailer supplies so they are always on handif needed. I recommend these replacement tips for anyone who owns or uses the CMCN618 18ga Brad Nailer.
