At first glance this mirror was great, and easy to install. However, this mirror was awful quality. The image was distorted and warped making it unsafe for driving. Definitely not OEM quality, will be returning and buying a different mirror.

Ok, my right side mirror got shattered. I bought this replacement and tried to attach it. Basically it was like a duplo that you push and snap in. It didn't seem secure and easily came out. I noticed that the original mirror had a 1 inch metal clip on the back which secured it. The replacement mirror had a place to put the metal clip but did not have one. I took it to my local gas station who removed the clip from the old one, inserted it in the new one and perfect. Fits and works. Question, why wouldn't the replacement part have the metal clip?????????????

Thanks to meeting a dump truck on our narrow country road and someone's trash can left a little to close to the edge of their drive, my passenger mirror was just at the right Height to smack the handle of the can. Not only did I shout some words I later apologized for as the instant adrenaline rush hit my arteries, but it shattered my mirror. Of course I went to the local auto store, which is a "zone", and they didn't carry it, so sitting in the parking lot there I pulled up Amazon. Yep 2 days later I'm opening the package, wadding up the instructions without reading them becuase that's what my dad taught me to do, and less then a minute later I'm back in action. It's as simple as can be and looks exactly like the original. I can't claim how well the heat option works yet but wires hooked up nice and tight so I'm hoping it's just like original.
