Barbed adapter accepts 1/4 to 3/8 inch I.D. tubing. This flask is graduated and has an oval marking area. Uses stopper number 10. Autoclavable. Graduated. Material: polypropylene. Capacity: 1700mL. I thought that being autoclavable meant that it would be OK on my hotplate magnetic stirrer. Wrong. Even set on 140 F, the plate still started to burn and melt the bottom of the flask.Another thing is that the bottom of the flask is incredibly concave. So much so that my stirrer couldn't exceed 500 RPM without decoupling.

I have used these in the labs I participated for many years. They are very good and conveneient. One time they bought something that looked like this but was not this brand and under vaccum it collapsed. I recommend this flask.

Used to catch the water extracted from a soil paste placed in a 11 cm Buchner funnel. Vacuum extraction. These are great because they do not break.
