This is perfect for range days! Fits 5” firearms with no issue (1911, Ruger 5.7.) Room for extra mags. Nice, reinforced places for padlocks. I feel better running errands with this locked in the back of my suv (“hidden” of course.)I plan on getting more of these cases. My wife thought it was a little overkill, but we both go to the range and when you think how much your investments cost, it’s inexpensive insurance. After our first run to the range, she saw the value.

The foam was cut too small in the wheel well area under the butt of the left most pistol position in the case and had a hole in the floor and side of the pocket causing a lack of support for the pistol. Some foam scraps I had on hand were sculpted to fill the void around the wheel housing and to fill in the holes, providing the support needed for the bottom of the pistol. It should not have been necessary to make this repair on a new case of this quality and price. Nanuk quality assurance inspectors should take note for the future. General fit and finish is very good with hinges, latches, seals, wheels and handles all performing as intended. The case is made here in CANADA. So no tariffs or other Trumpian malfeasance need be countenanced here. Yay!!

It took me awhile before I talked myself in buying a $210 case, but after receiving it today I know why it cost so much!! This thing is well made to say the least. The latches are strong and durable, the rollers are well made and smooth, it closes very well and tight and you can just tell by looking at it, it is well made! It's a heavy and durable case but is not to heavy or bulky to carry. This is absolutely worth the money!! This case will no doubt protect your expensive investments (handguns)!
