This is a step up from any of the name brand kettle grills that I've ever owned. The cast iron grill is a first and works great. The one drawback I've seen is that the legs are a little wobbly and need to be re-tightened from time to time. This grill also smokes really well. Takes a bit of practice and breaking it in to begin making masterful barbecue.

The grill seems very heavy duty and high quality. It's very heavy for its small size which could be good if you want it to last a long time but if you want to carry it you might want something lighter. I haven't cooked with it yet but everything seems to be in place and I thank G-d had no missing hardware or misaligned holes. It seems like it will be good but I'll update if there's a problem cooking-wise. My main problem is with the instructions where everything is just kind of floating in the air and it's hard to tell where/how to attach or screw things. Other than that I'm happy.

I've had a fair number of grills over the years, including the big W name brand.We were in the market for something we could take to the beach and use here.The quality of this is excellent, feels like a substantial build.The only negative I can say is the assembly instructions are not the best. It's a pictorial and not well done.I was able to figure it out, but they should have whoever does the Ikea assembly instructions show them how it's done.

I have been around a fair amount of grills, but I have never seen a grill built this well. Both halves of the kettle are porcelain coated and all fittings are stainless steel. I drilled a hole in the lid and installed a temperature gage. With care this grill can last a lifetime. I highly recommend.

The information provided by Amazon indicated that the dimensions for this cover are 42" x 30" x 46". The cover I received is 27" x 27" x 43", rendering it useless for my purposes. If you don't need the full advertised dimensions, it may serve.
