Bought these for my dad. Him and I play Italian cards. Thank you for giving me away to spend more time with my dad and have fun. Plus, this brings back memories for him when he used to play cards with his dad.

Great looking deck of cards. The cards are slightly skinnier than a Western deck. I don't know how they play in Naples with only 40 cards. I'll have to use them for magic tricks.

I got this deck of cards for my Italian friend who wanted a game from back home. He absolutely loved it! The game is simple to learn and a lot of fun for the whole family.

Love this game. About 6 months ago, I looked for my old Scopa cards and couldn't find them. Went online and saw these new and modern Scopa cards. I was going to get them, but they weren't the same feel as my original ones. That's when I found these, just as I remember it from back in the day. Great set of cards. Sturdy, glossy, and as far as the game, one of the best out there.

100% plastic as advertised -- not just plasticized like some other versions of these cards.

Great Italian style playing cards. Good quality cards that should hold up for many plays. There are only 40 cards in the deck, and they are smaller than your average poker size card, so you should be aware of what you're getting before purchasing.I played with my father-in-law, who's from Naples, and he instantly felt at home with these. He wondered where I got them and for how much. I told him Amazon for a mere $7. He thought that was reasonable. He then (re)taught us all how to play Scopa, and even my 5 year old jumped in, which made me happy. If you're looking for a fun change from the standard 52 playing card deck, and don't mind learning some new games, then give this a whirl. You might like it.

Scopa is an Italian card game. It means "sweep." The deck is based on a standard deck but minus 8-9-10, for a 40 card deck. There are 3 face cards worth 10-11-12. Each player is dealt three cards and four are placed face up. The object is to pick up the cards on the board with matching cards from your hand. You can pick up more than one card on the board if their combined total equals the number on the card in your hand. (Example you can pick up a 7 and a 5 with a king, which is worth 12). If you "sweep" all the cards on the board, that is a "scopa" and you get a point. You also get points for having the most cards, the most sevens, the seven of gold and the most golds. It is totally addictive, with a good combo of luck and strategy. Great for families and pairs, especially when you're on vacation!
