Your cart is empty.The Flat Emergency Trauma Dressing (ETD) series of bandages provide an effective, constant pressure bandage used for the treatment of wounds to control bleeding. The Flat ETD is packaged in a low cube space, flat folded configuration to reduce its diameter and footprint in kits. It consists of a resilient elastic wrap equipped with a sterile non-adherent pad, durable securing device and innovative Quick-Grip Roll Control configuration. This combination facilitates a rapid, controlled, and extremely effective application process in the most demanding conditions. The ETD can also be used to sling and swath an arm, to secure splints to an extremity or to perform in any other function requiring an elastic wrap.

This compression bandage is basically an ACE bandage in terms of ease of application, but is thicker and studded with Velcro to stop unraveling and get a tight fit. The end is Velcro and a plastic hook stick. I did not use on a major bleed thankfully, but enough of one to practice on, and it got very tight.

I purchased this product to carry in my OC pouch on my duty belt while on duty. This was the only 4'' trauma dressing I could find that both functioned the way I needed it too, as well as fit in my OC pouch. In my opinion there are other more effective products out there with additional benefits included, just not in this compact of a package.

Great little dressing pack! It fits in just about any medical kit and is vaccum sealed which saves space. I love the package it is in because it is tough, has picture instructions printed on it, and has red coloring around the places to tear it open so you arent hunting for it. I'm an EMT and I keep this in my JUMP kit I use at work.

While I initially confused this product with an Israeli Battle Dressing, it is not, nor does it claim to be. While similar, the packaging is slighly superior, with bright red markings showing the tear points to open the package. Additionally, without the plastic slider-bar on the dressing, it's more compact. A good product at a good price.
