I got this to wear on my daily walks and it's been really nice to have so far. It's very lightweight, seems to be sewn together well and the included water flask is easy to fill and doesn't leak. It's a fairly basic waist pack, but the main selling point was the water flash and integrated carrying pocket on the bag and I've found it really convenient to have. I keep my phone, wallet and keys and some miscellaneous gear in the main compartment and there's still some space left over. Importantly, it stays put when I'm wearing it and doesn't overly bounce around even when doing light jogging. The water bottle and pocket were the main draw and these work great for my use case. I'll probably wear it when riding my scooter as well and I'd say I'm pretty happy with it in general.

I bought this for my daughter who lives in Florida and trains for various length running races. She also does some day hiking. The pouch is built from a lightweight, finely woven fabric made from polyester and nylon. This material blend is known for its exceptional durability. It has a smooth soft surface that combines great resistance to tearing and stretching while feeling very comfortable. The pouch looks fantastic in the Sailor blue color.Compared to other running hip pouch designs, this pouch has the same long trapezoidal shape, but it is much taller and maybe a bit longer than most. The pouch is split into two compartments: one for a water bottle and a second triangular pocket for your phone, keys, credit card and other small items. The taller shape is probably the result of the water bottle storage area and the need to carry a large phone at a 45-degree angle inside the triangular pocket. The back of the pouch features a fine (see-through) mesh fabric covering a perforated padding which protects your body and provides some ventilation space. The 1 1/2" wide belt is non-elastic, adjustable on both sides and features a nice large quick connect. The belt is not overly long. I would say a size 38 to 40 may be possible. The belt has two moveable belt loops that retain the extra belt material and can be used for attaching your race number. In my opinion this is a little low to place the race number. In use with a full water bottle and my iPhone 14 Pro with case the pouch weighs nearly 33 oz (over two pounds). This explains why the waist belt is a non-elastic webbing design. The pouch covers a large section on your backside but feels comfortable when walking or hiking. For running I would probably carry the water bottle in my hand. The flexible water bottle can be accessed while moving but to put it back I had to stop. I do like the more vertical orientation of the phone. This position makes it easy to locate with your fingers. And the narrower shape comes up through the opening easier. For me the pouch feels very comfortable on my right hip. I can easily access the water bottle and put it back. The phone is also easy to reach. For walking this works well for me. For running and maybe rock scrambling on the trail the pouch has to be center back. I do like being able to switch it up.The Hydration belt meets the descriptions and images shown on the website. I really like it and I think it will fit the needs of my daughter as well. At first for running and walking. But now, since I've owned it, I see that it is excellent for hiking. For day hikes the water bottle is a necessary feature. For extended overnight hikes I'd probably ditch the bottle and put something else in that pocket. The pouch is lightweight and would fit under a large hiking pack to give you immediate access to snacks, energy bars and of course your phone. It really works well. The Hydration belt is well made from quality materials. The design and construction are first class as you would expect from Nathan. If you're in the market for a Hydration belt for running, walking or hiking this is a good one to consider. It's not inexpensive but for the high quality and overall innovative design I think its reasonably priced. I would recommend it.

I have really come to like Nathan's collapsible bottles. It's just that it makes sense to not have to carry something voluminous when it no longer contains fluid. So I continue to build out my running arsenal with more accessories that utilize these bottles. For longer runs, I have been using a simple compression belt that has some pockets, but no water holding capabilities. I decided to try this to free up my hands (vs. having to hold a bottle).Overall, I really like it. In addition to loving the collapsible bottle, I find the belt to be very comfortable overall. The padding of the main back part is quite soft and breathable. The main belt on the front is a little rough, so I make sure it does not directly touch a skin but instead goes over a shirt. But I could see over a very long run that it might become a bit of an irritant if you don't position the belt carefully. The pocket itself is quite large. It fits my iPhone 16 Pro Max fine and still has room for some other items, although I wouldn't want things flopping around too much in there. Note that there isn't a way to secure the bottom of the pocket, so it can bounce around a bit, but I don't find it to be too significant. Again, if you overload the pocket, it may become more of an issue. So overall, I really like it. It works well for my needs for medium runs. I'd have to supplement it with another hydration solution if I wanted to do a long run. But for those mid-length runs, this will be my go-to.

This is a super comfortable running belt with a good sized zipper pocket and bottle pouch. The vented fabric breathes VERY well and is very comfortable, very pliable, and form fitting when the belt is snugged up properly. The pocket can hold my phone, but only if I remove it from its case, my card wallet, keys, and a couple honey stingers or whatever you like. There was minimal to no bounce depending on the terrain and it rode very comfortably even with a full pocket and full bottle. You will have to stop or slow down to access the pocket and the bottle, the bottle spine is helpful, but it's not an easy in/out with one hand like some of the bottle cage belts that Nathan also makes. If you want something simple and comfortable for short runs, this is it. When I pair this up with my Pinnacle 6L vest, I'm good to go all day and then some.

I was impressed when I first felt how soft and lightweight this felt. It appears to be well made. I didn't realize when I had ordered it that it came with a small collapsible water bottle. That is a nice touch and will definitely come in handy. The belt is easily adjustable. I believe it will be comfortable even in the heat of summer or with a lot of physical activity. The storage pocket is a nice size and has a clip for your keys. Plenty of room for a phone and keys.I highly recommend this item!
