I made a snow globe for my fiancé a couple of years ago in memory of Jake, her loving cat. The only tricky part I remember was getting the plug in, but it was because I had many figurines mounted on it before plugging the globe so I had to be very careful. Overall though it’s held up years later and it still looks beautiful to this day. We keep his memory on our shelf next to his ashes. I just wish it brought a base but it’s not a big deal to us.Rest in peace little buddy, we love you forever.

I had the base for my water globe. If you don't have one, you need to get one as this kit doesn't come with one. My glass broke, so I order this one. The directions were not very clear. This is what I did. My suggestion is to adhere your figurine with E6000 glue. Rough up the bottom of your figurine and clean it with rubbing alcohol. Apply a generous amount of glue, place on gasket. Let it cure for at least 48 hours. I added a layer of clear silicone around the figurine. Fill globe with snow and then add distilled water with a bit of rubbing alcohol (to prevent bacteria) and some glycerin (to help the snow move slowly). Then place gasket with figurine in freezer for about 20 minutes. remove from freezer and apply a very thin layer of vegetable oil (not too much). Begin working gasket down, but don't put any pressure on the middle of gasket (this will cause the figurine to lift). This is where you'll need a second person. When the gasket is nearly flush, insert a small funnel and add more distilled water till full. Remove any air bubbles at this time. Let sit undisturbed for 24 hours. I put a layer of silicone on the top of gasket for extra protection. Attach your base and your done. It's a chore though.

Easy to order. Was difficult to find the right size. Fairly expensive though.

Bought this to replace a broken water globe glass. So far, so good. Not yet sure it's going to fit properly...Base has a lot of old glue/sealant that needs removed and that's proving to be hard.I think it's good for the money, but only if I can make it work.

Well made, clear globe. The gasket fits well for me, I haven't glued it in place yet but don't forsee any problems. The package arrived super quick . The snow amount included will not be enough for my project, I recommend buying additional snow or glitter. The snow is also very small in flake size, not a puffy snow.
