Stellar Native American Style Basic F Sharp Flute With Instruction Book- (Flute Bag Not Included)
Native American Style flute in the key of F#
The Basic F# flute is our largest and lowest key of Basic. In the picture of three flutes together, it is the one on the far right. This key is better suited for people with larger or more flexible hands. People who play other instruments can usually play this key easily. If you have small or inflexible hands, you might be more comfortable with our Basic A or Basic G flutes.
Our Basic F Sharp flutes are made from unstained western red cedar and come in a wide range of warm brown colors. The color of the wood may vary form the photos. All of our Basic flutes are made from the highest quality western red cedar. This is a softwood, which means that it is light in weight. Cedar is one of the most popular woods for Native American flutes because it adds a resonant quality to the voice of the flute.
This is a six hole Native American style flute tuned to 440hz, universal concert tuning. It features a removable block to allow for easy condensation removal and proper drying after playing.

Choosing the right flute
Pictured you will see our three keys of Basic flute. As flutes move down in pitch they get bigger and the fingering holes get further apart and further down on the flute body. This means the lower flutes are harder to play.
The key of A is our smallest and highest pitched of all three basic flutes, it is also the best choice for someone with smaller hands or someone who has limited flexibility. Many Flute classes will request you start with this key.
The Key of G is the middle sized Basic flute. It is our most popular key because of its soothing voice. Most people can easily play this key.
The key of F# (F sharp) is our lowest key of Basic flute. This means that it is also the hardest to play. The fingering hole stretch on the F# can be uncomfortable for people with smaller hands or people who have never played an instrument before.

What a beautiful tone this flute has! The crasftsmanship is perfect. The flute is smooth everywhere, comfortable to hold and play. I’ve played “traditional contemporary” flutes, but had not had a Native American style flutebefore that I was happy with. This is my first Native American style flute, however, as a multi-instrumentalist, I know a good quality instrument when I see and feel it. This flute is beautifully constructed, and was clearly crafted with care and great attention to detail. The sound is rich, beautiful, and in tune. The instructions provided with the flute were very helpful to get started, and after reading it and watching a few videos online, I have been able to improvise some beautiful tunes using some of the suggested techniques within the provided pamphlet. I highly recommend this flute for beginners and professionals alike!

I like the sound of Native American flute. The tune sounds like a natural minor scale (sad but beautiful), compared to other flutes that sounds sharp and bright. However, it is able to play major scale. This flute (tuned in F sharp) is bigger than the G note one but has lower notes. I have small hands but can play with it after practice. I am thinking of getting another one with even lower note in the future.Also, the flute looks simple and beautiful and it is correctly pitched. Thank you for making this flute.

The most impressive thing about this (my second flute from Stellar) is not only is it a well crafted flute to insure great sound, but it is a delight just to hold and feel in my hands...Wow ! Well done Stellar!p.s. Not to mention incredibly affordable for such luxury!

Clean beautiful woodwork. Light and easy to hold for extended periods. Sounds absolutely beautiful. The accompanying tutorial videos are clear and helpful. I started with zero musical experience and was playing an actual song within a week. Practicing with this flute is a joy🥰
