What I like about this latter is the size of the rungs. They fit Pepper's feet just fine. I have two of the ladders near the top of the cage and he runs around on them quite quickly. One thing that is disappointing.....the rungs are not even.The holes were not put in straight so one rung will be lower and the next higher. He seems to have gotten used to it now but it was comical watching him adapt.

We have a Quaker that LOVES to wander. However, when h gets to the floor, getting up isn’t always so easy. We combined a small piece of extra cage paneling at the bottom of the cage with this handy, dandy perch leading up to the door and VOILA! Neo can get up and down without getting frustrated and screamy.The perch goes together easily and seems very solid for our bird. The provided washers for both sides of the mount only add to the sturdiness.No weird smells, no bugs, no broken wood. I call this a win!!!!
