I didn't realize how many labels it was, weight wise, until the package arrived. Wow, it was HEAVY! I recently got a thermal label printer, and these work very well with it. They print up nicely, adhere well, and all said, seem to me to be very good quality. The price seems high until you realize just how many labels you have gotten. At 3 cents a label, how can you go wrong? I highly recommend.

This is a LOT of labels for an individual or small business. I've been toying with the idea of converting from my black and white laser printer to a thermal printer for my small business. With the laser printer, I have to purchase toner both cartridges and labels. The name brand toner cartridge cost $62. I haven't tried off brand toner cartridges yet. Label prices range of course. The problem with normal printer labels is inconsistency. I finally found a brand that I really liked. But my most recent order of those labels arrived unusable. I requested s return/replacement and the 2nd shipment was just as bad. And then these thermal labels were offered to me to review. (Hint, hint, wink.) So instead of buying another toner cartridge and crossing my fingers with yet another order of normal printer labels, I bought a thermal printer.Let me say, I'm having fun testing out my new thermal printer. There are so many labels in this box, I don't have to worry about wasting a few. Label print is dark and clear and smudge free. The backing extends away from the label just slightly. This margin makes it super easy to peel the label off. No more hunting for the edges! Maybe this is standard for all thermal labels, I don't know, but it is not standard for 8.5 x 11 2-per-sheet printer labels, so worthy of mention here. These labels are super easy to peel from the backing. Did I say that already? I'm so excited with these labels.These labels feel ever so slightly thinner than the sample pack of labels included with the printer. It's so slight, I only notice because I'm deliberately comparing the two to try to write a better review for you. I would not have noticed otherwise and it in no way tarnishes the quality of these labels.These labels are ever so slightly whiter than the sample back. Again. not noticeable. I held the two labels next to each other in the sun to compare. Maybe there's not a difference. This in no impacts my impressions of either product.Running my fingers over them, these labels feel ever so slightly smoother than the sample pack.These labels are easy to separate by tearing at the perforations.I ran a sample label under the faucet, then rubbed the wet label vigorously. Not even a hint of water damage or degradation in either print quality or the label itself. After a couple minutes of abuse, I dried the label with a towel and was still able to use it for shipping (although it was just a test print and not an actual shipping label.)The last two photos show what I printed compared to how it printed on one of these labels. I made zero adjustments before printing. I just sent that image to the thermal printer. There're some minor imperfections in the black areas, due software interpretation of greyscale, given the dark areas in the image are grey and not black. There are no imperfections in the cheerleader image.I'm happy with these labels and would buy them again.
