It's really too bad, I'm really surprised at the quality of the box and the telescope itself. No kidding quality looks and feels sturdy well finished and way more expensive than it costs. A+ for that. But then the magnification is what maybe 2 power, I mean almost none, almost like it was made for looks not function..

The quality of these is really good. They look really cool and realistic for kids to get into character. My son accidentally dropped his inside the box and the front glass piece cracked. He still uses it but I feel like it shouldn’t have cracked that easily.

I bought these for my coworkers two little boys as a gift for Christmas.. they are well made and come in a nice keepsake box! Great for 2 little pirates for treasure hunting!!

Very, very nice for the money. Not sure if you could see rival pirates coming but very sturdy and nice looking.
