I've used Navac's flaring tool in the past and loved it. I bought this on a knee jerk assuming it would be of the same design quality to replace my Rigid. It does cut well. But unfortunately, a Rigid close cutter is a superior design.-Flare gap on the roller requiring the removal of more pipe when re-flaring bad flares.-The adjustment knob is larger, requiring more space in tight spaces than the Rigid tube cutter.- And while still maintaining a larger body, the Jaw does not open to the same size as the Home Depot Rigid cutter.Overall, the build quality is good, but the design is poor compared to similar products, considering Navac's well designed flaring tool.If you're a plumber doing small pipe you may enjoy running a cutter with a larger more comfortable knob. But as an HVAC service tech, it's missing enough features to stay in my van as a last resort.

They’re very nice smooth thumb cutters however they only fit onto 5/8 copper OD. It won’t fit on the OD. Of 3/4 “ copper.

This cutter feels good in the hand, the tightening knob is just the right size.. If you ever used the smaller knobs you’ll understand what I mean. Hand and fingers cramp up trying to turn the knob. Excellent cutter. I have the larger cutter as well, and it is superb. Great engineering.

Great cutter nice and compact high quality cutter. It will do up to 3/4 inch pipe maybe a we bit bigger works great I have used many other pro brands and this one is just as good.
