Was planning to utilize this wall mount rack to house a series of patch panels for a building network, but was unable to use it.The "wings" were extremely heavy and there is no mechanism to lock them in place, so they will wobble with any pressure added (hint: patch cables can add pressure)The wall mounts worked fine - but the included screw for the wall mount were so cheap they literally tore apart when attempting to mount the rack.the brackets are set for direct screws instead of typical rackmount clip/screw hardware, couple this with poorly made screw holes on the rack itself and more cheap screws, it's a recipe for disaster.I cannot recommend purchasing this product.

We used this to turn the top half of a linen closet into an IT closet. This is the only 9U that would fit inside the doorway. It was easy to mount and holds everything very securely. I would recommend this to anyone needing the same.

The mounting holes are 16" and lined up for studs, but if you are putting this in a corner next to a wall, the holes will most likely not line up to studs unless the studs are not framed to the corner of the wall, and if that is the case, you will need to use a plywood or similar blocking to have something solid to mount the rack into. Most installers do that anyway, but had to mention that. The holes for mounting into the rack almost seems a bit tight or small. It feels like bolts / screws are not going to fit, but after muscling a bolt into the hole, it cleanly threads through afterwards. It might be the paint / finish that does this, but other reviewers have commented about the same issue. I almost returned the rack but after reading a few reviews, decided to thread a bolt through and it is all good now. Would have been a 5 star review if the screws cleanly threaded without having to do this.

First, this appears to be a sturdy design and is exactly what I was looking for. As mentioned in several other reviews, the holes you use to fasten items in the four locations are poorly threaded. Some were very tight while others I could not even get the screw to start. I verified that the included screws were 10-32 and then used a tap to re-thread all mount locations. Another problem is that they only included 8 screws for a 4U rack when 16 are needed. Considering the cost of screws, they could have included 16. I had to order screws separately.

Used this to mount a Unifi UDM-SE in a small closet at my house, it's definitely MUCH more weight than this rack was designed for but it holds it, if a little wobbly. No room for a full rack so this was a good compromise. Mounts are easy to use.

The 6U Wall Mount rack does not come with the standard square rack rack bolt and nuts, you can't fit them on either. The screws that come with the rack does NOT fit the rack either. Normal M4 threaded screws will work, you do have to get them separately.Paid S$130.30 for the item, way too much for something so non-standard. Should have read the other reviews first.

I installed this above my OnQ enclosure in the laundry room where my patch panel is, so I needed low profile and the adjustability is awesome for minimizing excess depth.I was initially a little reticent to pick a rack with threaded post mounts instead of one that uses cage nuts. I wouldn't worry about it in the future, the UPS holds firm, doesn't sag and I felt nowhere near stripping the threads.I did find the existing mounting hardware to be severely lacking, and instead used some 2" lag screws into the wall studs and it's rock solid. In it I have a CyberPower 500kva UPS, metal finger duct, Unifi Dream Machine Pro, and Unifi POE 16 (150w) switch. It holds everything very well and I have no major complaints.

Bought this for a home network rack installation. Its quite nice overall, folds down and has adjustable depth. My only complaint (I should have read more carefully) is that the rack screw holes are non-standard. It comes with its own screws which seem to work okay although I agree with one of the other reviews that they are a bit tight due to the paint. I have a bunch of standard rack nuts and bolts and they will not work in this unit because the size is different. Long as you don't lose these screws it comes with it should work fine with most equipment. Overall a minor annoyance and a pretty cool little unit!

Needed this for an experimental Project for use with some Audio Rack Mount Gear. It's a bit awkward to get the gear on untill you attach at least one unit to it, but other than that, it's quite fine. Even with other gear mounted to it, it still feels a tad flimsy, but honestly sitting on the ground, it's fine. Not sure what it would do mounted to a wall though.... I would probably go with something a bit sturdier for a more professional/intensive application, but then again, it really isn't all that terrible.... It might woibble side to side a bit if wall mounted.Low profile, easy to use, and get my job done for the most part.Cheers to You!
