Works as advertised. I can't quite tell the actual date of the maps, but it is accurate for my purposes. At least the navigation system is working again. A lot better than paying over $400 to the dealer. The only thing that you can't do is upgrade the card to the newest map update via the Mazda Toolbox. They've added some type of new SD Card/file protection.

Worked amazingly for my 2017 Mazda CX-5. Dealership told me $500 to replace the SD card. Found a Mazda parts online store for $339. So didn’t have much hope that this for $45 with tax and possibly shipping was going to work but it did! So thankful I gave it a try instead of be bullied into spending way more than I had to! Just plugged it in and went about my drive! Debated even leaving the card out but was helpful to have street names pop up before I got to them even when just using my maps via my iPhone and having to look down. Was nervous about there being a problem first popping it in but card was NEW and so there was no “error” given as I had read used cards would give an error as they were “linked” to other VIN. No issues. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy again in a heartbeat

This SD card is just as other reviewers reported! I did not do a total reset because I didn’t want to lose all the addresses I had stored. I just popped the card in the slot and everything started working perfectly! I have been limping by, with the entire system blinking in and out erratically, waiting for an appointment with the Mazda dealer. The dealer charges $300. for a new card. I was receiving emails telling me to download the Mazda tool box so I did but that didn’t work. I thought I had to depend on the dealer. For around $40. I decided to take a chance. I am sorry glad that I did!

I recently bought a used 2018 Mazda3 Touring, but when I got home, I realized it didn’t have the navigation SD card. After some research, I found that Mazda charges hundreds of dollars for a replacement. Luckily, this option saved me a lot of money and lets me navigate in my new car without needing to rely on my phone.
