Bought these to use to lift my new 350 pound washer/dryer.Tried lifting the front end with the one lifter on each side. Would not move the front end at all. Tried with 2 lifters on each side and it moved a few inches then started to sink back down. Would not hold any weight once lifted up.Removed lifter, used the handle to open up the lifter and was able to push the lifter back together with my hands and fingers. My hands and fingers can not create 440 pounds of lift as this device is advertised capable of doing.My mistake was not trying them immediately when I received them so I could send them back. Do not buy from this seller.

I had a dresser to lift and the jack slipped causing a very deep gouge. Would not recommend

These come as a pair, in a really nice case. They are very well designed and made, especially for the price. They can be used to squeeze and/or separate, lift and lower. NO, they WON'T jack up your car! LOL But for those nothing else will do needs, they're great . I have a LOT of tools, but these are something I've needed many times but couldn't find. You won't use them everyday, but probably more often than you might think. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this.

I used for DIY kitchen cabinet make over. Basically , I only used to lift old cabinet and get space when removing sink. It worked ok and job is done now. Unfortunately one of them got the folk bent - left one on the picture. For safety concerns I won’t use it, but that’s what I expected for $20 anyway.
