Excellent fitment. Rock solid when mounted correctly. Push bolt through mounting plate and align with hole. Carefully thread in, tighten and plate will seat properly closing the small gap. I prefer the way this one mounts over others I've used with a much smaller screw that came from the top. The side mounting screw is much more robust with a much bigger allen head bolt. This will be a good platform to mount optics for my HK.

I had to use a rasp to make it for my hk mp5-22. Didn’t quite fit; but eventually it held my red dot. The iron sights don’t line up: so I swapped with a genuine HK part. Still had to file those down a little…

First review: There are some other reviews that mention this not fitting, and I found the same thing. I believe with some grinding/filing it could fit.Second review: I bought a few other brands and they didn't even come close and one broke. This one I bought again and did a fair amount of hand filing on it and the HK MP5. It eventually fit, is sitting true to the top, and is secure.

It’s exactly what you’d expect for 8 bucks. If you’re thinking of using this on a real gun. Don’t. Cheap. Chinese garbage. Dosent fit straight. Won’t hold zero. Don’t even try.

I bought this for my Umarex mp5sd .22lrIt was pretty difficult to fit at first but eventually got it right (no grinding downor modifications). Its long enough to fit a Crimson Trace red dot (that I also bought from Amazon) and a Sightmark 3x Magnifier (bought at my local flea market).Would have been 5 stars if it was a low profile rail so I could also use the iron sights since it doesnt really need a red dot. I just wanted a "tacticool" looking gun.Funny thing is my mp5sd is pretty heavy now that when I leaned it against a table and it slipped and fell to the dirt floor, it snapped the sling loop by the front sight off lol.

For the low price you would think these are not good ,but don’t let the price fool you I put this on my mp5k with a red dot and have has no issues with it! Rock solid and easy to install A+
