Super easy to install. Works great, very smooth action. I purchased the burnt bronze color and the contrast against the black is great. Its easy to locate with plenty of real-estate. Much larger and much sturdier than the original.I ordered the kit which included the slide, ball and the plate. I changed the plate because the new one looked different and I wasn't sure the old one would work. I did not need the ball, but thought maybe I might lose it as it's very small so I wanted an extra just in case. All in all it was very easy to install. Open the action to keep the parts from falling inside. I laid my 590 on it's side to keep the ball from falling in. Took about 5- 6 minutes.

Good fitment. Ball bearing works well too. The biggest issue is removing the original “safety” screw from Mossberg. Once that’s done, this safety increases surface area for actuation without any negatives. The red contrast looks good too.

Great upgrade to the OEM safety switch on the Mossberg 590 shotgun. Easy installation. Flawless function. Looks nice.

NDZ makes excellent products. This safety button is so much better than the OEM Mossberg button. Just make sure you watch an install video or two on YouTube or you might be taking your shotgun apart to find the very small detent ball! You have been warned!

Install was easy. I like the visibility and more surface area. So functionality been great so far.Be careful removing the original. Older Mossberg 500's use a safety screw (I think it is one from the 80's). The newer model from 10's I don't recall having the same issue. But, I had to break the old plastic safety level and use a pair of pliers to unscrew it. It was too small to use a screw extractor easily. Just don't damage the metal oval under the plastic and do not.lose the ball bearing or spring.
