I was initially offput because it has an insert inside of it that is different than the standard neck braces I've tried before. Turns out that insert is really helpful in keeping the form of the brace properly secured on the neck squeezing in different areas than a standard brace would. Having it is all black looks a lot better than the white then aged yellow looking braces that are standard. After a month of using it I have to say 10 out of 10, and I want to keep using this product over my previous standard white brace.

The neck collar provides support for an achy neck and it limits your neck mobility when needed. The wide hook-and-loop strip lets you open/close and adjust the brace for your own comfort. The slightly curved front cradles your chin. Get the support you need to get rid of your pain in the neck.

This neck brace is comfortable and soft to the touch. It can be sized tighter or looser as needed, and is flexible (but firm) enough to cuddle your neck under your chin perfectly. I like to wear this most when I'm sitting still on the couch watching tv. It helps keep my neck upright, and I feel great after I eventually take it off. I probably wear it for 1-2 hours at a time before taking a break. I tried wearing it to sleep, but I couldn't do it. I need my pillow to be scrunched up just right to be comfortable (I'm a side sleeper) and this brace just got in the way too much. I would recommend this brace for anyone who finds comfort in wearing a brace for a few hours each day. If an all day brace was mandatory, I imagine this is the one I'd choose (while I wouldn't want to wear it all day - I wouldn't be miserable if I had to).

I suffer from occasional torticollis and sometimes need to wear a brace to reduce the cramping. I usually use an inflatable brace but this seemed like a good, easier to use brace. Unfortunately it's too soft and does not hold my head in position as well as needed. I would not recommend.

I got this brace to use while using my computer. The material is soft and the foam is firm and soft at the same time. Feels like a memory foam type product. The velcro is secure.I am a small female and the 4" height is good however the overall circumference is too long. The velcro has to be overlapped to fit correctly. The edges then are pressing into my neck. This neck brace is nice and could be used for sleeping, computer use, airplane. It was too big for me.

MATERIALS:The majority of this neck brace is made of a soft, black, ribbed fabric, which covers the medium density foam that forms the brace. The adjustable, sewn on front tab is made of a different kind of soft material, which is conducive to gripping the small strip of velcro on the underside of the end of the tab. In the back there is a more standard 1.5” strip of thin, black velcro that allows for the adjustability of the circumference of the brace. This strip is a rougher material, however it does not touch the skin, so this may not be an issue as far as skin sensitivity goes. Overall, it appears to be sewn well.FIT:Since the front tab is adjustable, this allows for compression of the part of the brace that sits under the chin. You can compress it as much or as little as you like. I found this to be a helpful feature of the brace. The velcro in the back is adjustable, however, I have a small neck circumference of about 12” and in order to make this brace snug, I have to overlap the foam. This causes an extra amount of the adjustable velcro in the back, which can get caught in hair fairly easily. When open and outstretched, the brace measures about 19” in length from end to end (of the foam part of the brace), and when closed to where those parts are touching, it measures about 17.5” in inner circumference. The tallest part of the brace is closer to the front on the sides, and this measures about 4", which is a bit too tall for me. It tapers off to 2-2.5” at the ends. The brace is about 1” thick.THE GOOD:- Adjustable in two ways- Soft material- SupportiveTHE BAD (or not so bad):- May not fit smaller sized necks well- Does not come with instructions- Velcro may get caught in hairFINAL THOUGHTS:I was hoping that the material on this was not ribbed/textured, as my skin tends to get impressioned easily and retain a textures shape for a while if pressed into my skin. I couldn’t tell from the product photos, and I was disappointed to see that it does have a texture, however, it didn’t seem to have an effect on my skin. I think the material is soft enough to not have that effect. I love that this brace is adjustable, however, it’s still a bit too large for me. I can still use it fitting loose as some support while sleeping if sitting upright, perhaps on a train or plain.
