Review for: Necklace for Women - Hand-Assembled Raw Baltic Sea AmberThis is a nice amber necklace. The sterling clasp is a little extra, most come with the regular amber screw clasp, so this is a little different.These are not exactly round beads, they are irregular, but not terribly so. They are finished OK. Just don't expect perfection and you will be happy.Good color. Good amber.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars.It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding.It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality.One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

The stones are beautiful and just what I was looking for. Love the look of the silver with the amber. The clasp is hard to connect. It should have been a lobster claw with a jump ring on the other side.

This is a nice little amber necklace. It’s probably best thought of as a supporting piece, rather than a main event as far as being showy. The findings are not fancy, but do function. Each bread seems to be knotted, so you won’t lose all beads off there is a break in the string.I’d like a slightly larger, longer piece, but for the price this is nice.

Amber is one of my favourite gems, and I am delighted to add this beautiful necklace to my jewellery wardrobe. The beads are irregular in shape, but more rounded than you see with "nugget" strands; they are also exceptionally well-matched in both colour and size. I love that they are hand-knotted between each bead, and that the findings are sterling silver. It is lovely on the neck, either on its own or paired with other pieces. It appears to have been constructed with skill and care, resulting in a necklace that should hold up well over time. The price point is exceptionally good for the quality.I am always a bit in awe of amber: it is around 40-45 million years old and has been prized by humans since the dawn of man. With some tweaks to the findings and cord, this necklace would look as much at home on the Vikings Saxons as it does on me today. Highly recommended!

I love amber and have several pieces in my jewelry collection. Looking at amber is like looking back in time, as it is the fossilized resin of trees that lived millions of years ago. Sometimes amber contains ancient insect and plant inclusions.This beautiful 20” necklace contains 60 amber beads. Although they are all approximately the same size and color, there are a variety of shapes and some even contain small inclusions. This gives the beads a natural appearance and adds to their beauty. Like any good quality beads the cord is knotted between each bead. The beads are clearly polished, and not raw amber as in the description heading. The necklace is comfortable to wear, and its simple design is perfect to complement most outfits.The necklace does include a certificate of authenticity from the seller. However, if you want to double check that these are authentic amber you can easily check them by conducting a few simple tests, as described online. I particularly like the black light, the electrostatic, and the salt water tests. The clasp is marked 925 for sterling silver. The writing is tiny, so you will need a good magnifying lens or a jewelry loop to read the mark.In conclusion, this is a beautiful polished amber bead necklace, that comes in a nice box, and would make a great gift for yourself or someone you love.
