I didn't know these existed. Unfortunately, I am dealing with my second diabetic pet who needs insulin and allergy injections. It's been many years since I had to figure out how to dispose of syringes, and the old-style "Sharps" containers are expensive and fill up too quickly. This is an ingenious design since it easily cuts the needle end off so that you can throw the larger part of the syringe in the regular trash. It works very well, and despite its small size, I think it will take years to fill up. My only grumble is that the lid could be redesigned so that it could slide or pop open using only one hand. Also, it would be nice if the "squeeze here" side had been clearly labeled. I frequently have to set the used syringe down to open the lid and get it turned the right way. But I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend it to to others.

I am not sure that the product actually was quart sized and it was very expensive!

Great space-saving design. It was clever to make the clear plastic container the "handle" you press to apply the force to the fixed razer blade to cleanly break the needle from the glass syringe. Works great!

First, this is very small. Second the lid does not snap securely and it is always open.

We have had diabetic dogs for years and used to have a needle clipper for the syringes. Once it was filled up, we found they no longer sold them, so I was SUPER excited to see this clipper/sharps container combo available.This will last us for YEARS. Sharps containers can be spendy and inconvenient to dispose of and fill up quickly if dropping the whole syringe in. This clips right from the plastic tip and is also large enough to use luer locks if you happen to need that for subq administration. Super pleased with this!
