I didn't know these existed till I saw on a you tube video. Makes sewing much more pleasant. No finger strain when I pick up a tight stitch. Great! The thread cutter is handy too.

I've taken up quilting-by-hand and the quilt is NOT in a frame. Sometimes I use a large hoop, sometimes not. I had thought that this tool might be a help in pulling a needle through the "sandwich" of materials. I find that for me it's too labor intensive and I do just as well with longer sashiko needles and a thimble. I'm sure it's a fine tool but it's just not for me.

I LOVE this product. I hand-sew my daughter’s Girl Scout patches and some of hose can be BEASTS to get a needle through. I’ve tried numerous thimbles, but not only does my dog LITERALLY open my sewing box and take them out to chew on, but they are generally either good for gripping the needle, or pushing it through, but not really both. This product does both, and WELL. Plus, I don’t need to get scissors just to snip off thread- that is built in too! It’s genius! My *only* suggestion is that the portion that goes around your finger be adjustable. Sometimes, it slide down my finger (like a ring) and gets a little stuck, making me have to fumble with it a little to use it. But honestly, this is probably more about me being clumsy than any design flaw. I LOVE this thing.

This thing is amazing! I don’t know how many times I have almost chipped my tooth trying to pull a needle through while quilting or hurting my fingers trying to push the needle through. Wish I had found it sooner! Will buy more for backups Incase I lose it

Easy to use once you get the hang of it! It really made binding thick quilts easier and kantha stitching much more productive.
