Avoid, Drains Canon R5 camera battery if left attached to camera body, even when body is turned off. Canon OEM adapter does not drain the camera battery.

Arrivato e provato.Costruito come si deve , all'apparenza solido e ben rifinito.La ghiera si comporta benissimo ,ad ogni click corrisponde un diaframma ( settato per comandare questo parametro Da verificare se nel tempo non insorgano giochi o altri cedimenti dovuti all'uso ma , al momento sono molto soddisfatto , considerato che costa meno della metà rispetto all'originale Consigliato

This thing is great! I was worried after reading a lot of reviews saying it fit “loose” but I haven’t experienced that. I have a Canon R8 and it fits like a glove. Lens works great with it. No issues! I highly recommend 👍🏼

Grace a cet adaptateur je peux utiliser tout mes objectifs EF ainsi que les EFS(avec reduction de 16 pour les EFS)Si vous cherchezun bon adaptateur mais pas aussi cher que le Canon, celui ci est fait pour vous.

This is a 3rd party alternative to the $200 (refurb $130) official canon adapter with ring. I was initially concerned since some other reviews stated a few problems, so I tested this very thoroughly and I can say that I did not run into any issues at all.Works with all my lens, including:Yongnuo 35mmSigma 50mm/f1.4Sigma 18-50 f/2.8Tokina 11-16 f/2.8Canon 18-135 STM kit lensAutofocus is fast and smooth and for the STM lens, completely silent as expected.Regarding the other reviews, things I specifically looked for:a) One review mentioned that a heavy lens caused the adapter to detach and fall off. While I don't have any heavy telephoto lens, I found that the adapter locks into place on the body of the R50, and while I exerted moderate force to attempt to get it to wiggle loose, it held firm. I would suspect this other review was based on user error or maybe a one-off faulty adapter.b) Another review mentioned that the control ring did not work. By default, you need to press the shutter halfway while using the control ring, or change the default configuration to not require the shutter press. The control ring worked for me on every single one of my lenses.

It was great overall but kept the lens functioning even when the camera was off which drained the battery. Purchased in May and by August had fallen apart. I'm very disappointed in this adaptor. I speak highly of Neewer products so to have this be so cheaply made and with so many issues was disappointing, especially for the money paid.

Great adapter that I've used for almost a year now. Works with all my EF lenses.Recently, I noticed that the adapter is loose when connecting to my R10 and that it will randomly switch to manual focus often. I either need to take it off and put it on again or wiggle the adapter to get it to auto focus. Might have to buy the OEM adapter if this keeps happening.Overall, the adapter served me well but not lasting a year is something I didn't account for. I have an adapter for my eos-m to ef adapter and that adapter has been going strong for 3-4 years.I can only think that the heavy EF 24-105 might have been too much for the adapter.

I bought this adapter when I purchased the Canon R8 so I could use my existing lenses. I love this adapter, if only because it keeps me from having to spend addition money on RF lenses, particularly when Canon is keeping 3rd party lens vendors out of the market currently. Having the ring on the base to change my aperture (or whatever else you program it to do) is very convenient while shooting.It would have been kind of nice to have the option to put filters in the base, as the more expensive models do, but since I already have those filters for my existing lenses, I don't have to purchase new ones anyway.

I got this for my EOS RP because I already have a whole mess of EF lenses. It's worked on every single lens I have with no problems. It goes onto and off of the camera smoothly. And the control ring works perfectly, and has a satisfying click when you move between settings. The knurling on the control ring is also quite pleasing.This thing is very solid, all metal. I can tell this is going to last for years!And a great bit of savings over the actual Canon adapter with a control ring!Neewer's been nailing it on their accessories!
