Purchased in October and was unable to use it by late November. I was very disappointed in this product as it would not charge properly and did not connect the vertical shutter to my Z7ii after a few uses. Soon after that, the camera would not receive power from the unit itself. The camera works fine with all other batteries, but it's dead cold when trying to use this vertical grip now.

This grip is awesome. The buttons don't feel as good as the genuine Nikon grip, but for a lot less money I'm willing to over look that since they work well enough for my amateur needs. It really makes a difference balancing larger lenses on the Z6ii. I think it's a very good clone of the Nikon grip. There's onboard storage for the original battery door which needs to be removed to fit this grip. You can charge two batteries in the grip without the camera attached. The battery tray supports hot swapping a battery. The function buttons all work just fine on my grip, though they don't feel as high quality. The remote is surprisingly useful. My SmallRig cage that's made for the MB-N11 fits perfectly on my camera with this Neewer grip attached. At a third of the price of the genuine grip I am really happy with it and can overlook the lesser quality.

I received my battery grip & remote today. Batteries worked but I was unable to use the gimbal to move the focus point or use the shutter release on my Z6ii.

Reçu hier, fonctionne très bien sur mon Z7ii avec 2 batteries originales. Pour mes besoins (non professionnel) je suis très satisfait, à ce prix bien sûr, soit 25% du prix d'un original Nikon. Les boutons ne sont pas tout-à-fait de la même qualité mais ils sont bons.

After purchasing a new Z6ii Nikon I ordered the NEEWER battery grip. I already have a NEEWER battery grip on my D7200 Nikon and it has performed well. After I received my new battery grip and installed it on my new Z not only did it not work at all, it totally disabled the camera. No lights, no functions, no camera! I immediately removed the battery grip and put a battery back in the camera and the camera came back to life and I returned to normal breathing. I did a quick return to Amazon and they delivered a replacement unit the next day. Thank you Amazon for your quick response! I'm happy with the new unit, It functions well and the Z6ii really needs 2 batteries for a day of shooting. However, after being in the computer peripheral business for twenty years I wonder why their products don't receive full testing before shipping?Update: The second unit has failed!! After changing batteries my camera displayed a notice that the batteries could not communicate with the camera. So, I once again removed the battery grip and took out the Nikon brand battery's and tested both batteries directly in the camera. Guess what! The camera was happy with both tested batteries. So, I'm returning the battery grip and I doubt that I will be buying NEEWEER products in the near future.

Cheaper than name brand, works just as good! Doubling the battery life of my Z6II is awesome, as well as adding a vertical grip. Neewer quality is front and center - they make great stuff. The feel and look of this grip fits the Nikon brand perfectly. The buttons and dials feel normal and responsive. The battery tray is a little weird, but I got used to it quickly. Having USB-C charging on the grip is really nice too, so the 2nd inside battery can stay in, and not remove to charge.

This is not good as a Nikon power pack but it’s way cheaper. It has Bluetooth assessability so you can go ahead and control your camera from a far and it has lots of cool features with the Bluetooth gives you logic control that you see you set your exposure this is really great to add to your came. If you want to start creating self portraits times images for nature or even if you want to just have it sit out video what not from when you’re blocking for yourself yes, it takes two batteries. Yes it gives you double the battery speed. Yes it does. Also enhance your camera fan for second as well so this is a great bye I really Can only a test to the downside being the durability it’s not as durable any way shape or form is Nikon version, however is still strong and durable enough and we definitely always need double the batteries inside of our cameras having a power pack like this is a must have and it’s not too heavy because we’re shooting with Mary list and the biggest issue that we have a Mirroless how heavy everything is afterwords. This is great for shooting events sitting Vlog shooting self-portraits, and the Bluetooth functionality cutie that extra bit of Features that make this a well worth the price and it’s still cheaper than the Nikon version.

Go ahead a book that wedding and don't forget to grab this product for an extended battery life and easily to handle! I truly love this product being a photographer! IT's a must have and you won't regret it! It fit my Z611 Nikon perfectly!

Wenn man etwas verkauft, sollte man auch sicher gehen, dass es mit dem angeblich kompatiblen Produkt auch wirklich funktioniert. Der Batteriegriff ist Müll. Akku wird erkannt. Alle Tasten und Einstellungen, die man am Griff vornehmen kann, sind ohne Funktion. Funktioniert nicht mit Nikon Z7II. Hände weg, sonst ärgert Ihr Euch genauso, wie ich, als das Ding heute ankam. Der eine Stern ist noch zu viel und gilt nicht dem Produkt oder Hersteller, sondern Amazon für die schnelle Lieferung.

Neewer makes great photographic accessories and this grip with its excellent build quality and performance is no exception. And, it includes a great 2G remote for only $10.00 more than the grip without the remote.It fits my Nikon Z7II with no problem and works just like Nikon's more expensive OEM grip, the MB-N11. It gives you a solid, secure grip on your camera and the fact that the camera will continue to operate even if you have to remove one of the two EN-EL15c batteries to charge it, makes it a must-have accessory.
