Drained new batteries fast. Need to have lots of extra batteries if you want to use this flash on a longer photo shoot. DO NOT BUY!!!

This is just what i needed. I currently have a Sony A7iii and it synced perfect for on camera flash. I also can use it in master mode with Q300 strobe. Or I can use it off camera with my wireless trigger if i want to hold the light in my hand or put it on a stand with the mount that it comes with. This is perfect for when you're on the go and trying to pack light instead of having to carry around bulky equipment and can sync with lights you already have.

Very easy to slip into any carrying case. Compact and lightweight flash. Powerful enough to warrant its use in place of the built in camera flash in any situation. Yet not so big as to be inconvenient by any means. It is by no means a replacement for any studio quality powerful (high GN) flash if that is what you are looking for. But as a photographer with over three decades of experience, I can say with confidence, that this is my new, go to, walk around, on camera flash for my D90.

As a novice photographer, this flash suits my needs perfectly. On a Sony a6400, the flash has a balanced feel, adequate power, and high-speed sync that works fine.

It's not an exact copy of the Godox, but has the same form, size and set of functions, and some I even prefer. E.g. It has an on/off toggle and a mode and power button, and some things are easier to reach without the use of holding buttons for 2 secs like on the other, which I find difficult to remember. It also seems a bit flimsier and I woulnd't be surprised if it broke, but I also won't be surprised if it doesn't. Especially since I'll attach it to the hot shoe very very carefully each time (I'm more worried about my camera). The diffuser cap felt a bit loose and bag, too. I like that you can turn the flash off and still use it as a trigger. My main reason to get it was to pair it with the Z1 round head flash, which is a great product and costs much less than the Godox V1. It's a good option if you need multiple flashes and have a small budget. I also like its small size and weight, since I use it with the 7CR, which is a smaller camera. It's too early to say more, but will update this review if anything changes.
