Got this to use when RV camping and happy that it converts my regular 15 amp connection from the 30 amp shore power connection.This thing is sturdy and rugged. Rubber housing and flexible shielding around the three prong port make this very suitable for rainy conditions.

There is nothing fancy or special about this part. It does what it is intended to do, and it works well. I used this to plug an overhead cable reel, into a 30A socket. Pinout was correct and the plug fit very snug. In all likelihood I will never think about this part again. Thanks for making something that works well, at a great price!

Well made and easy to use - its a convenient adapter to have on hand and takes up very little space.You need to use caution in how you use this, but there are times when its' a great solution to have

It is helpful to hook up an extension cord at the marina and I prefer these all in one types vs the pigtails as they are easier to transport and store. As designed (for safety), this adapter will hook up with the 30 amp pedestal here at my marina, but not the 50 amp.

This generator adapter plug is heavy duty and can convert a 30 amp outlet on a generator into a 15 amp for use with 100 volt & 120 volt electronic appliances. It can also be used on portable power boxes that have a 30 amp outlet to give you an extra 15 amp outlet. The plug has some weight to it so it is heavy duty and should be quite durable. There are raised ridges around the molded plug for secure gripping, and the plug is made with copper wiring. These types of plug adapters are easily overlooked until you realize how convenient having one can be when needed. I therefore recommend this generator adapter plug to others who own a generator that has a 30 amp outlet.

Extremely heavy duty molded PVC adapter that converts a NEMA l5-30 socket to a standard 5-15R (for a household 15 Amp Circuit) or 5-20R (for a 20 Amp Circuit - one prong going sideways). This provides an additional output for my generator. The twist-lock makes an incredibly secure adapter connection. All components both internally (with a camera probe - no pix avail) and externally are heavy-duty brass. The protective cover (pix 4) is a nice addition to prevent the prongs from getting fouled with debris during storage (which they would supply something similar for the socket)!

This is a very solid adapter plug. It's a hard plastic and pretty hefty.I have 2 30A receptacles at my dock and this will come handy when I need to run my polisher outside. It connects easily to the receptacle and can handle any 15A or 20A appliances.Definitely, recommended.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Prongs were straight and are not loose.Plastic body is solid and appears durable.Fit into a plug with no issue.I did not get a chance to pass electricity through it yet.Not a great value at eighteen.Recommended - 4.5 stars
