Not sure if we got a lemon. Sometimes it shoots sometimes it doesn’t. Not much that should go wrong in a toy with that simple mechanics, but it barely launches the dart 50% of the time. Not user error.

Far from new. The package had clearly been opened and glued back shut. I was supposed to gift this, but the packaging was so terrible. I ended up opening it up to check it, of course the spring is busted. So disappointing. Never again.

These are very fun and quite powerful for such a small gun. It does take quite a lot of force to prime it though so it's not great for small children who were the intended recipients.

The kids love it and we got a fair price on Amazon! These basic guns are the best - good distance, very durable, and accurate. Don't waste money on fancy ones with clips that always seem to jam bullets. The kids always default to the basic guns after struggling with the complex ones.

This is the best 5 dollars I've ever spent. I bought two to play with my grand kids and also use to shoot next to my cats to keep them off furniture. Getting shot by the nerf dart doesn't hurt at all - and yet they shoot fast and accurately up to about 20 feet. They go further than 20 feet but the accuracy wanes after about 15 feet. The gun is easy to load and fire. I highly recommend this gun for hours of fun.

I really love these blasters because they seem to shoot with a decent amount of force and they're SO easy to pocket. Also they aren't difficult for kids to rack and reload.They only hold one shot so if you're in a huge nerf war, they aren't a good choice, but for games of Assassin these are perfect! No one will see you coming.Best of all the see through colored plastic and shape of the pistol means no one will ever confuse it with a real weapon.
