Our wall plate features an exact hole alignment that matches original plates perfectly. When replacing your existing plate, no new drilling is required—simply use the original screw holes for a seamless installation.

1. This wall trim plate only fits for Google Nest Learning Thermostat 4th Generation (Not compatible with Google Nest Thermostat 2020 and Nest Learning Thermostat 1st/2nd/3rd generations)
2. Only two holes are actually needed for installation. You can choose to install it horizontally or vertically according to the actual situation.

I’m absolutely loving this wall plate! It’s the perfect match for my Google Nest Thermostat (4th gen) and totally elevates the look of my hallway—super modern. The color is spot-on and blends seamlessly with my home’s vibe. Installation was a total breeze—no hassle at all. Plus, it hides all the old thermostat’s wall marks like a pro. If you’re looking for a clean, polished upgrade, this is a no-brainer. Highly recommend!

I just installed my new Google Nest 4th Gen learning thermostat yesterday once this cover plate arrived. It's a very nice replacement for the white oval plate included in the box with the thermostat and matches very well with the "obsidian" version of the Nest thermostat (as seen in my photo). It was a perfect fit and very easy to install, though you'll use the wall screws that came with the thermostat, since none are supplied with this product. I docked this plate 2 stars, since I really don't like having the company name emblazoned BAOKZZOM on the bottom of the plate, and the price point for what it is seems steep. The logo on front is totally unnecessary and detracts from the otherwise nice quality of the wall plate. It's subtle but still annoying. To brand your product, put the name if you wish on the back of the plate that is hidden from view. Value for the money at current price point of $14.99 is poor in my opinion, especially without including any hardware. I'd also recommend the product listing be updated with proper spellings of English words (eg. "unpanted wall").

This is exactly what we needed. You can use the same screws as the ones for the thermostat to mount it.
