This is a wonderful AP. I bought three to deploy across my large house sitting on 1 acre of land, I’m able to get a strong signal at the very edge of the property with speeds up to 2 gbps. Closer to the access point, im able to utilize true wifi7 speeds. I had also purchased a ubiquiti n7 pro max to compare, and although I’m sure it’s a fine product, I found it difficult to integrate into my existing non-Unifi environment. Netgear’s web ui makes things far more simple if you have a network that’s been pieced together over the years. Highly recommend for fast, secure, reliable WiFi over very large areas.

I've been using this AP as an upgrade from my similarly-featured WiFi 6 Netgear AP (WAX610), and enjoy the full local control I can get.The speeds are great (I can get 1.2 Gbps per device with decent antennas, probably more if I can figure out MLO!), and I like that it includes flexible mounting hardware for wall, ceiling, or T-bar in the box.The T-bar mounting instructions were a little hard to find, but I found them through some DuckDuckGo searching. Once installed, it's quiet (no coil whine), and has a single LED to convey status and activity. I'd prefer to have more than one LED but it's fine—it can even be disabled if you want a more discreet installation. The one major downside is the speed of the UI on this box—it's even slower making changes or loading in pages (including the dashboard you get when you log in!) than my old consumer router I have at home. Should be a little faster to load IMO, that's the only thing that mars the otherwise good experience.Would do 5 stars but I think once you pass $300 for an AP, you need that little extra bit of polish. And no, I will not deploy Netgear's Insight. Local control or bust!

Works well, especially WiFi 7. Integrates well with my other WiFi 6 Netgear Access Points. WiFi 7 range is limited, so plan to buy several.

Typical Netgear product that works as expected! Had an issue with some Android devices but ended up not being Netgear. Everything has been working flawlessly! Great product and will buy more APs and continue to support Netgear over Ubiquiti!
