I've purchased at least 3 sets of 14" storage cube sets over the years and they always came with connectors that actually fit. Over those years, many of the connectors have broken. The pyramid-style connectors sold here are uniformly all too tight and a real challenge to attach. I've searched for the round-square types because they resembled the originals and found these. ***Note that there is no product description other than "black connectors."*** These are way too large to connect to the standard storage cubes. It's not that they're just a little loose. No, there is no friction with the cube grids at all. These will not hold onto the cube grids. They just fall off! There is no connection whatsoever.I returned these and only received a partial refund, so beware.

I had a terrible time finding replacement connectors for my vintage (5-10+ year old) metal wire grids. These are EXACTLY the right size for my grids and have performed perfectly. [My grids are the kind used for building cubes and C&C cages.]Note - I tried the "coin fit" on my old connectors and it wasn't a totally perfect fit, just a little too snug to get all the coins in the slots fully. It was *really* close and so I took the chance. But - it was very helpful to have a tangible measuring method (thanks, seller!).I don't have any of the Amazon brand or the recent wall-organizer gruds, so this may not apply to those.Please know that it takes some muscle to fully seat the grid corners into the slots. Its a very snug fit for a reason. If things seem wobbly when constructing, lean into it.

I purchased cube shelves from Amazon Basic. Their shelves didn't come with enough connectors to make all my cubes the way I wanted them made. As it turns out, Amazon Basic doesn't sell the connectors separately. I began the search for something that will work that wasn't cut as a diagonal and was or nearly the same size. After a huge search, I found this item showing the size using coins. I decided to take the chance and order them since my pennies fit very snug> As it turns out they snap into place! They are about 1 cm smaller in diameter to the amazon basics, but with 50 connectors I can just switch to these and still have some to spare.

Fantastic. Low cost way to make shelves. They are only for wire frame shelves and I am usually placing small things on them. But if you get a cheap glass cutter you can easily cut glass plates to put on the bottom. You can also get the glass for free. There are many window installer companies that take out the old windows and install new tempered glass that can’t be cut or broken so easily. The old windows they toss in the garbage, so usually if you ask them, they will give them to you for free.

Doesn't even fit the wire. Had to toss product because the connector was too small and broke when applied... even after test inserting coins in the connector as directed on the site to determine the connector side before purchasing. Wasted my Christmas gift card money in the end :/

These were everything they were adverstised as. They fit perfectly. I was very skeptical when I ordered them and had looked at them for MONTHS before ordering, cause I didn't want to spend money on something that wouldn't work. I finally bit the bullet, measured my wire and based on the notes and reviews of this item, placed the order. I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!! They are perfect and work SO much better than a zip tie! I definitely recommend ordering them!
