I received black broadheads with different blades. They are NAP Thunderheads & they are 125 grain...So, I will use them. But not thrilled about the "bait and switch" so to speak...They claim to be for a "crossbow" (not what I'm using them for) but I see no real difference...? The threads are the same, the weight is the same, they fly the same....I'm sure the game animals won't know any difference... it is bizarre there is a distinction..?

Wow! I'm new to crossbows / archery although I've been a rifle and black powder hunter for years. I took two large Northern Oklahoma does with these and the results were impressive. One doe at 30 yards and the other at 40 yards with complete penetration through both sides of the rib cage. I could not find either crossbow bolt and both deer piled up within 50 yards. The wound tracks were as destructive as any bullet that I've taken a deer with.

I have used thunder heads for over 30 years. My regular ones flee all over the place so I tried these for my wicked ridge crossbow. They are dead on for left and right but7 inch low. They shot dead on with the forty HD line.

I have been shooting Thunderheads for 15 years with my vertical bow have been very reliable, I have harvested many deer with them. I am now and have always been very happy with the way they thunderheads perform. This year I was injured and bought a crossbow. I decided to use the same fixed blade technology row whitetail hunting I am very satisfied with the flight characteristics, the penetration and way it quickly brings down a whitetail deer. Harvested two deer this season with two shots. Thinking that a properly sighted crossbow, with a well designed broad head is unfair to the animals.

These were very nice and work great with my Barnett Quad 400 bolts. quality is top rate and comes with practice tips. I even got a $10 rebate (took a while to get here but it did none the less.) I highly recommend and would purchase again.
