I found an article about the General Motors screw up on there 2014 through 2017 pickup truck air conditioning lines breaking ( and no recall) so I found this fix and installed it. Installation went well. Search a you tube video before you install to get a good visual on what to do.

Product fit perfect, it was a little tight getting my hand in there to tighten the bolt but not impossible. Hopefully this will prevent the a/c piping from cracking from poor engineering decisions. Quick fix (hopefully). Time will tell. P.S. it's been installed for about 6 months with no issues.

Came in GM packaging with correct PN. Somewhat difficult to install due to very limited space. Hopefully it’s protect my condenser

Installed exactly like the GM techs recommend. The bolt stripped out and wouldn't tighten all the way. $9 wasted! Wont buy this part from here again!

Installed after replacing AC line only time will tell if it makes a difference but definitely looks like it makes a difference
