Elastic band broke after 25 days of continued use. Was cheap. You get what you pay for just remember that when shopping. Great novelty item.

What I like about this Halloween bow tie is the size, color, and design pattern. The color and design, in particular, make it easy to see what this bow tie is about. What I do not like is that that knot does not simulate a hand-tied knot and, especially, that the neck strap is cheap, thin, black elastic instead of made from the same material as the bow tie. These limitation are forgivable, given that this product was obviously intended as a cheap element from a party costume or the like. Still, it comes across as overly simplistic.
