Bought it hoping to use it with remote play only to find out most newer games use the front screen for l2 r2. Not the fault of the product but me not researching enough.

All around a great purchase. Gives you function to L2 R2 L3 and R3 buttons comfortably.

I really like the feel to this grip which definitely helps for remote play. If you are in the market for a grip with L2 and R2 with the addition of L3 and R3 then this is definitely a contender. Only down side is the shipping speed is quite slow, wish it was a bit tad faster I got it within 3 weeks.

This grip is very comfortable and offers triggers for l2,l3,r2 and r3. They work well with ps1 classics. I played twisted metal with this and its so much better.

I really love my Vita but I have big hands so my hands cramp after a while and it isn't very easy to hit the L2/R2/L3/R3 buttons. This case makes all those issues go away. The case feels solid and durable. The Vita clicks in and feels snug so there is no concern about it falling out. The grip itself feels ergonomic and comfortable. I didn't realize it had a rubber finish as well providing that extra grip in my hands. I do a lot of remote play with my Vita and would always struggle to find the back buttons but now having dedicated buttons like a normal controller makes it seamless. I highly recommend this as it is an affordable grip/case option for your Vita.

The grip itself is a little awkward to hold, but it does give you a bit more leverage over the Vita alone. There were really no other affordable options for a grip with L2/R2 & L3/R3 triggers. The Hori Grip is selling for $248 as of this review. That's more than I paid for my Vita. The L3/R3 triggers work well and are responsive. The L2/R2 triggers bend at a more "horizonal" angle than I'd like. Since my fingers are at a slight angle when pressing L1/R1, it feels unnatural to adjust. The L3/R3 triggers are mounted on a removable panel. It has (what looks like) a sticky panel for if you decide to mount it without the case. However, when pressed into the open-back rectangle of the grip, it holds pretty snugly. There's no click, but the friction has kept it in there pretty well so far. Here's the bottom line: don't get this grip if you're looking for comfort. Get it if you need L2/R2 & L3/R3 for PS4 remote play or PS1 games that need it.EDIT: I have a PS4 now. The R2 button does not reliably press when I press it. Sometimes it lets go too soon, sometimes it doesn't press at all. This grip won't suit you well for PS4 remote play, either.

perfect grip for my slim vita. the grip itself clicks nice and snug to the vita and the r3 l3 plate clicks right into that. the plate has some adhesive strip on it but i havent used it and the playe still clicks in and stays snug to the back

Great for people who hate the rear touchpad and wish for traditional controls.
